  • The door code and your room number is in the AirBnB chat message you received.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

  • For your convenience the place has self-check-in and self-check-out.
  • Your room key will be in your room on the table.
    On check-out please leave the room key back on the table in the room.
  • Check-In to the room is from 1:00 PM.
  • Check-Out from the room is until 11:00 AM.
  • Please quietly check-in and out to not disturb the other guests in the other private rooms :)

IMPORTANT

  • Please do not ring the door bell of neighbors or approach them, that unfortunately caused complaints in the past.
  • If you need help, please call us at +49 (0)176 3115 8146 day and night :)
  • If you have no phone or no service, please use a public phone or ask someone who passes by and who is not a neighbor ;)
  • The WiFi also works from outside the building. The WiFi info is in the AirBnB chat message you received.

    Please do not smoke in or in-front of the building.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT

  • At early morning or late or night times, please be especially considerate and quiet to not disturb other guests in the other private rooms.
  • For early check-in you’re welcome to make yourself comfortable in the common areas with sofa, use the internet, kitchen and bathrooms.
  • You can also drop off your luggage in the common area under the table or next to the sofa, in case you want to go for the city. Tough there has never been an incident, please take precious valuables with you or bring them to our office.
  • The rooms are made ready by us latest by 1:00 PM, though your room might be already vacated from the previous guest when you arrive early.
  • Please do not knock on closed doors until 11:00 AM for checking if the room is vacated, as the previous guest may still be sleeping in there.
  • In case the room door is already open or it is after 11:00 AM, if you are tired and don’t want to wait until 1:00 PM for the room to be finished by us, you're basically free to grab some fresh bedding and 2 fresh towels from the closet left hand side of the washer and occupy the room. In such case please send us a short message that you have taken the room already, so we don't knock the door during cleaning hour.
  • In case the room was vacant the night before, it will be ready for you any time early. We leave the door of finished rooms open, so you know and can see that it is vacant already.
  • For check-out, latest check-out from the room is at 11:00 AM, so we can finish the rooms for the upcoming guests.
  • After check-out from the room (please leave the key in the room on the table), you're again welcome to stay in the common areas the whole rest of the day and go in and out the place, or deposit your luggage and come for pick-up any time later the same day. The entrance door code will still work for you the whole day.

AMENITIES

  • WiFi The access info has been sent to you in the chat message. But they're also posted in the kitchen area on the refrigerator door.
  • Linens Bed linens and towels are provided.
  • Shared There mostly is bathing supplies available, that's left overs from other guest (because they can't take it on their flight), placed in the bath cabinet. You’re free to use at own risk.
  • Shared If you want to share left over food such as coffee, tea, milk, butter etc. noodles, please place it in those baskets that are colored in green inside, to make them visible for others as shared, so everybody knows. If you like to use shared food, consider, we clean out expired stuff repeatedly, but consuming shared stuff is by your ow discretion and risk.

  • Over www.bvg.de our can generate your public transportation itinerary and receive any other public transport info.
  • Close by stations are :

PARKING

  • Street parking directly at our place is by city parking fee at € 0,50 per 15 minutes, € 2,- per hour and € 22,- per day. Vending machines standing there all ca.50 meters
  • Pricing changes may occur over time.
  • Free street parking is available ca. 10 walking minutes away.
  • You won't need an "Umweltkarte" environment-badge for temporary stays of just a few days.

  • No-Free-Parking areas are marked yellow.
  • Free-Parking areas are gray and in ca. 10 walking minutes distance.
  • Parkster and other parking apps can additionally help for convenient parking management and payment for the yellow areas.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Brotgarten, a popular breakfast bakery in the neighborhood.
  • Brauhaus Lemke am Schloss, a brewery bar & restaurant right hand side of the Charlottenburg Palace, with German typical food.
  • Definitively check out the surroundings by Google Maps and any other travel recommendation sites to find many more markets, stores, bakeries, restaurants in the area ... as there are plenty here.
  • Picasso, Miro etc. in the Berggruen Museum right around our corner by the Charlottenburg Palace with lush original baroque park and guided tour inside the palace ...
  • Rocco Pizzeria, with really good pizza. Also not-even-small mini-pizzas available for little money at the outside sales window. You can get chilled beverages in the Rewe-supermarket on the other side of the street until around 10:00 PM in the late evening and enjoy sitting and eating hot pizza and cold drinks for low costs in the Lietzensee Park by the water :))
  • Various Mini Markets 24/6 open late or at night. Sundays unfortunately sometimes not allowed to open shop in Berlin (depending on current politics).
